XDefiant fails PlayStation certification

Ubisofts upcoming free-to-play shooter XDefiant has failed certification for the PlayStation store which means until Sony’s issues are addressed the game can’t be released.

This doesn’t mean there will necessarily be a lengthly delay as a lot of games fail certification on the first submission. It could be something as simple as a button prompt being the wrong shape or a missing warning screen so the game could still launch by the end of September.

Of course if the problem with the game is more serious it could mean a lengthly delay.
