State of Play possibly coming in September

Sony are reportedly readying a State of Play livestream for sometime in September.

According to industry insider Jeff Grubb the PS Plus price increase yesterday was a “lead-in” for the State of Play.

There is usually a State of Play around this time of year and there are several things Sony will likely announce.

We don’t have a release date for the PlayStation Portal, Pule Elite headset or Pulse Explore earbuds and the long rumoured PS5 with a removable disc drive was heavily rumoured for a reveal or even release in September.

There is always a chance that Sony will opt to announce these things on the PlayStation Blog so as usual take these rumours with an appropriate dose of salt.
