simple,

Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter series, Ratcher and Clank series mostly. Most people usually associate childhood with Nintendo games but they’re super rare in my country, I only ever got around to playing series like Zelda and Mario in the mid-2010s. For what it’s worth the playstation 2 really was the console to have at the time, the games were amazing. Pretty sad Sony is reluctant to make good ports of them for the new generation.

Oh, and everyone I knew had House of the Dead 2 on the computer. Now that’s a classic.

simple,

BUT I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I’M LOOKING AT WHENEVER I LOOK THIS GAME UP

simple,

Nintendo I am BEGGING YOU hire this man NOW

simple,

I got One Step from Eden for 60% off, considering oxygen not included for 66% off. Divinity Original Sin 2 is $10 right now and I highly recommend that too. The Arkane Anniversary Bundle is $10 right now and is looking really tempting since I’ve never played Dishonored.

Still on the lookout for other deals, but it’s looking good so far.

simple,

Also they discussed approaching Tencent internally, they didn’t actually make plans with them. The title sort of implies they were both in talks.

simple,

Are you dumb? It’s the official video that covers everything in the article.

simple,

Interesting opinion considering most posts are constantly bashing companies on this platform

Re: “This post is an ad”

All trailers are ads. Any article promoting a game is an ad. A movie trailer is an ad. The only difference is whether people are interested in the content or not. It’s not some grand conspiracy that many people (me included) look forward to the Steam sale so they can buy games they want and be on the lookout for sales. This is a gaming community so this is very relevant to be posted here. Don’t be overdramatic.

simple,

Never played Grim Dawn but have been itching for a good singleplayer ARPG for a while. I guess now is finally the time to jump in.

simple,

So does this mean the game is finally ready for me to buy?

Nope. Worth waiting for a few more fixes and proper mod support.

simple,

Sort of a nothingburger article. He says that they didn’t get nominated, then says they probably didn’t deserve to get nominated. Even people that liked the games agree neither should’ve been nominated.

simple,

I don’t think so, now that the dust has settled lots of people agree ToTK was a bit underwhelming. It had many of the same issues as breath of the wild, like weak dungeons and bosses. The depths and sky islands also had lots of copy pasting, way more than breath of the wild ever has.

Great game still, but no way it’ll win GotY. It’ll easily win the action/adventure award though.

simple,

Does anyone remember Spiral Knights? The game is effectively on life support with very few people playing and laggy servers, but it really had the potential to be something special before the publisher dipped out.

And man, the soundtrack… The town theme still lives in my head rent free. I really wish it were more successful.

simple,

It’s an old meme, I’ve seen this one years ago.

GTA 6’s Publisher Says Video Games Should Theoretically Be Priced At Dollars Per Hour (www.forbes.com) angielski

While Take-Two is riding high on their announcement that a GTA 6 trailer is coming, its CEO has some…interesting ideas on how much video games could cost, part of a contingent of executives that believe games are underpriced, given their cost, length or some combination of the two.

simple,

Some dungeon crawlers I enjoyed: Hades, Enter the Gungeon, Torchlight 1 & 2, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Legend of Grimrock, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth

simple,

If you need a quickstart on emulation, I highly recommend Ludo. it’s a wonderful frontend that comes packaged with most emulators and just works without any fiddling.

Ludo is a retroarch spinoff that has sane defaults and a simpler interface.

simple,

Not at all, you can adjust clear rate (difficulty) when browsing levels. I just played one playlist of 15 easy levels and it was really fun and simple.

The campaign levels are kind of hard, though. Nowhere near “I wanna be the guy” levels of hard but it’s made for people that are good at platforming, so you may want to stick with community levels if you get stuck.

simple,

The Xbox GOTY is baffling. You had Dead Space, Pentiment, and Hi-Fi Rush as the nominees and they picked Starfield? I get it’s the most popular but all three of those were way better. Hi-Fi Rush got scammed.

The rest of the rewards seem good. I’m glad Cocoon got some recognition.

simple,

Just when the competition in the handheld space was ramping up, Valve comes back to dunk on them again.

It’s pretty awesome that they also cut the price on the old model. The $400 LCD version now comes with a 256gb NVME SSD rather than the slow eMMC it came with.

simple,

The mechanics are similar but it’s a very different game. I would say look up gameplay and decide for yourself if you’d enjoy a 2D version of Risk of Rain.

simple,

I love how they put some bare minimum basic things inbetween new content
