Okay let me start with two heavy hitters right from the get go and don’t forget these are only personal oppinions and I absolute understand if you like those games. Good for you!...
I like competitive games where I feel like I outplayed my opponent, the feeling I get from winning against an actual human is so much superior to winning against a system that was designed to not be too hard. Here I know I had to surpass myself to win
Plus having ratings and that kind of stuff is always a nice reward for winning. I play a lot of competitive tetris, Trackmania, CS2, The Finals and recently started learning Tekken 8 for this specific reason
Om the other hand, I don’t like souls like because they’re just a single goal I need to spend hours to beat with no progression afterwards. I want my solo games to be challenging sure but not requiring me to learn like my multiplayer games can get
dev said last night on a q&a stream they planned to make the steam deck a target even if they don’t officially support linux.
They said that they have already improved the controller integration
First and foremost, This is kind of a rant. I do not like horror games. I have never played any ‘strictly horror’ ones before. And yes I get scared easily....
I also hate horror games (other than silent hill 2), but Lethal Company was so much more enjoyable for me when I was playing as an operator for my team. You might want to try staying in the ship and giving the most concise and precise calls to your radio operator friend that’s inside. It is less scary, even if there are some monsters roaming outside at times (but they are pretty easy to dodge)
Is it because there aren’t enough good games or because you aren’t hyped by games anymore? For me between CS2 (counter strike AND cities skylines), Battlebit, the Cyberpunk DLC, TOTK… Thats already quite a lot of new good games coming out that I am hyped for
It’s really great, has a lot of depth, unfortunately the skin gambling is the worst part. I don’t encounter cheaters in my game anymore, and play only with squads of friends and it’s definetly my favorite FPS, would recommend to anyone willing to learn a tactical fps
Diablo seasons are just a character reset for those who enjoy them. It’s a huge part of a lot of ARPGs like Path of Exile or Diablo. As you can reach endgame in about 5 hours on diablo and have your complete build in 20, it makes sense.
Yes that’s also what I’m talking about
Your previous characters aren’t important anymore, it’s a fresh start all the time. On each new season there has been 0 previous time and effort investment
I am not quite sure, when starfield released I saw a lot of comparison with cyberpunk 2077. I think a lot of the people who played it really enjoyed the world
At the beginning, there was the theme of “connecting,” and after that, I made a lot of notes about character settings, game ideas, and so on. Like how to connect it. If I’m not mistaken, there is a theory that his cowriter on the MGS games is the one who made it great. Unfortunately it is hard to get information on the topic
