Also Steam Deck - every install and uninstall is considered a new computer. That’s true for Linux gaming using Proton in general, but the rest of Linux gaming is not as relevant.
I was upset when Spiderman on PS4 was an exclusive
Exclusives are actively hurting the consumer, being upset is normal.
Hate for something because you can’t play it is just wild
If it’s because someone decided they can milk more money by making it exclusive, it’s not that wild.
Just like people hating on huge houses or seeing expansive cars just because they don’t have it
It seems your world view is dominated by jealousy a lot and you project it onto others. I hate huge houses and expensive cars because it’s just to show everyone around how rich you are and serves no other purpose. All that while other people suffer and struggle to survive.
TL;DR They included battle passes to a game you already have to pay for monthly. People didn’t like it. They went the classic corporate route of empty phrases while including a subtle poke at the people who now boycott it, which made them like it even less (seriously, did this ever de-escalate things?).
Not sure where you’ve got it bought, but I pretty much installed it using Heroic (I have it on GOG), then added it to Steam as a non-Steam game (with Heroic it’s a one click operation) and then simply found a Steam Input config that works well. I can check the config name if you want.
