Aunty Ethel’s lair is a non-rest area in act 1. And I think there’s also one in the Githyanki crèche. And short rests are allowed. And by that time I usually have a few of those potions that are essentially a long rest. Or a short rest with benefits. And there’s a restoration pod in the mindflayer colony.
Still on Baldur’s Gate 3. Just started my fifth or so character. An Abserd (someone multiclassing into every class) character who fools around in Honour Mode. Works surprisingly well so far and I still manage to find stuff I have never seen before.
That’s why I could never get into these games, even at the start as a WC3 map. So little time to actually assess what your choices are. You either need a dozen sessions to actually read everything or just someone to tell you what the good characters and items are.
Which reminds me, what did we get for the 25th anniversary of Unreal, another super important game from 1998 whose engine nowadays even powers movie production?
Honestly, I think I’ve never dropped a phone as much as this one. And apart from a few scratches there’s nothing. I think it’s the battery cover that usually just pops off like on the indestructible Nokia phones of decades past.
Really funny how I can use Nokia as both a positive and a negative example.
When I couldn’t repair my Nokia and replace the 5 € USB-Port because there happened to be a small crack in the screen (of course you have to remove the glued on screen to accese the innards), I caved and bought a Fairphone 3.
Worst decision ever. The stupid thing refuses to break to let me even use the better repairability.
