Never did anyone in this steam group go out of their way to harass anyone involved with the company.
Never was it “a bunch of sexist and racist white people being upset about diversity in videogames”.
Very bold statements in favour of people that I know myself are extremely “anti diversity / anti woke”. Do you even know who the creator of the Steam group is? Guy is known for being the scum of the Brazilian WoW community.
Best thing in the show was the mistery of vault 31 and the solution was extremely underwhelming. I think people just need time to digest. I hate Maximus.
Aftermath is a writer owned website with plenty of interesting stuff. I understand we dread paywalls, but at home is one of the few websites we support due to the quality of the content.
I was completely sold after the Alan Wale Fortnite article.
$300? I’ve met people that buy the highest supporter pack tier every year plus the highest supporter pack from the seasons. That can add up to over $1k/year.
I think at this point I probably have more than $300 in MTX too, but I paid much more than that to FFXIV sub since 2014.
Path of Exile players pay this and more with a smile on their faces, but yeah the game is “free to play” (you can barely play the game without buying storage tabs).
I really think Genshin is awful on mobile. Even with a high end phone I had extremely bad performance. I haven’t played Honkai so can’t say anything about that.
To be fair I wouldn’t recommend Genshin at all, I’ve been playing since launch and there’s a lot of FOMO, so just by starting now you already missed many things that will never return (like weapons, events, etc).
I really liked the Nier Reincarnation game and played full f2p. The story telling and the soundtrack is beautiful. The game will be closing in the next months though, which is really sad. :(
The new Lords of the Fallen game. It was a pretty enjoyable game. There were many issues regarding online play and such, but I’ve had a great time as a soulsbourne fan.
The platform I played the most this year was the Switch. My local library is blessed with a catalogue of physical games, including new titles such as ToTK, Pikmin 4, etc. There’s obviously a considerable wait list, but I’m so glad it exists.
