Fools stupid people into thinking theyre being generous. Same tactic gas companies keep doing in California to raise gas prices. Price goes up almost $2 per gallon, and then back down only $1.
At least with video games we don’t have to buy them to live.
Your money wasn’t stolen if a game was de-listed. If you already paid for the game, you can still download it. De-listed just means that people who don’t already have it in their library cannot purchase it anymore. That’s not theft.
Wouldn’t that be considered cyberstalking/harrasment by searching for, obtaining, and using any business employee’s personal contact info for matters related to their business in most places in the world?
Yes, I understand that in places like the USA that info is technically public info usually, but I feel like contacting someone’s private contact for matters related to their business is crossing a line that I wouldn’t want someone to do to me. I don’t want someone blowing up my personal phone every time something happens at my work, whether I was even involved or not, but especially if I was not involved at all.
Obviously this is a complex issue, but I personally would not look for personal contact info from any employee, nor do I personally recommend it.
Did Operation Harsh Doorstop add anti-cheat? I played it when it first was playable on Steam and the amount of cheating was so obnoxious I uninstalled the game.
Its not fun having your entire team have explosions spawned at your location when you spawn because one idiot decided to ruin the game for everyone.
I mean, I tried FFX and once I got to the Seymour Wedding I dropped the game because I was apparently too low level (I do absolutely zero grinding in games, I hate grinding and random battles the most from JRPGs). There was some gauntlet of multiple forced battles one after the other I think with flamethrower guards and my party was on low HP, had no healing items, and I had to save state scum just to pass it. I think I was around level 20? Maybe 30? I dont remember. I just remember the fight with the flying dragon on the ship was very difficult and the fight with Shiva (which also is not explained very well in-game to the point I had to look up what to do just to find out Shiva was added as an Aeon) was also veey difficult, both requiring save scumming.
Then the cutscene where Yuna just completely gives up on everything she believed in as a character up to that point and that was kinda the straw that broke the camels back. That scene, combined with the few cutscenes right before between the thief girl and Waka just felt absurdly out of character to me. I didnt appreciate what was going on and up to that point I wasnt loving the game either so I dropped it.
Also didnt like Blitz Ball. Played it for the tutorial and the forced tournament, but never played it outside of those forced moments.
Mostly I kept thinking how much I would have preferred if the main character was Jecht. Less annoying voice actor and better visual design than Tutus IMO. His story seemed to be way more interesting too.
I never played Breath of Fire, so I can’t say much on it. But I did play a bit of Legend of Dragoon. It seemed cool, but my save file got corrupted and I havent wanted to start a new game.
Could also try Koudelka, which combines true Survival Horror elements with strategy/tactical RPG combat.
Right, but the complaint is wrong. They are filing against the citizens initiative, which Ross is not the founder of. Then the media outlet is conflating the two in their article title, which makes things worse.
Yeah, I watch those “Save Me Time” slop videos on YouTube too.
But I appreciate more detail. While those videos do decently well, they miss details quite a lot that aren’t necessarily needed for the argument but help support what is being said.
But not enough people these days do for it to be the first form of media someone might choose to make. A video is a lot faster and more likely to be watched than longform text is too be read.
Its not new, but maybe check out Ragnarok Online. I don’t know how beginner friendly it is, but I was able to pick it up pretty easily with no prior knowledge.
