The covenant in this one feels less like an actual story element and more like they’re just there because they’re expected. I guess that would tie back into what you’re saying about how it’s just ticking the boxes

I don’t know much about the Ultra Story line, but from what i do know about it (Ultra Beasts and Team Rainbow Rocket), it just really doesn’t do it for me

USUM feels like the franchises often forgotten title i feel like. I really enjoyed the OGs, and though the whole Ultra Beast thing in USUM doesn’t really interest me, it is nice to have more content. Me and my friend had just made it through the first two levels which I don’t think have any of the new AI, but somehow they feel both smarter and dumber at the same time. Like they can hit shots ridiculously well, but also, they’ll just stand there staring at you sometimes

I’d say it’s worth it to play the First one before playing the second one. The second one does a decent job of catching you up to speed, but I still think playing the first one is well worth it for the narrative value

The first two are definitely helpful. Cover and Reload times were the two things i struggled with most on Halo 2 (and CE a bit too)

Yeah. I have a disk copy of Halo 3 and ODST for 360, but I’m scared that mine will Red Ring so I try to avoid playing until I can properly maintenance it. The online multiplayer is super nice though
