I loved the building, but I find the other half of the gameplay quite boring. Some of the more focused games i thought were a bit better, but it’s been quite some time since I’ve played them.
I don’t have time to read all this just yet because I’m at work lol. But I LOVE this topic. I’ve always been so torn on indie games. Some can be awful, but others are genuinely the best thing ever.
I will have to write out a list of my favorites in a bit
I’ve been streaming Lies of P the past week and I think I’ll start the Paper Mario Remake once I’m done that :)
I’ve also been trying to 100% we love katamari reroll. Not sure if I want to even attempt the 1 million roses part though. It seems far less fun than I thought it would be
I haven’t checked it out yet, but I saw someone had made a Lumines demake for the gba. Usually I end up finding out about them through forums and youtube
Ohh that’s interesting. I found the anniversary edition to be quite a poor adaptation as well. I’m curious how the lost chapters plays on PC. I never got to play that additional content
That would be really interesting. Heck I would even just take people making more games with the gba’s restrictions. I’ve always thought it’s super interesting. As developers get used to working with a console or system, we end up rolling into the next generation. So they don’t really get to flex their skill as much as I think they probably could.
I sometimes wonder what we would see if older consoles had another 7 years of life added to them. I try not to think about it too hard or I get kinda sad about the games we’ll never see lol
Yeahhh that’s the main issue for me. I’ve stuck with android for the past decade. I didn’t know about dragon fly! It’s not as cute but it’s going to do the trick. Thank you!
I find I very rarely use it as a handheld. I find it kind of heavy and awkward to hold after longer periods of time. I kinda wish Nintendo made another 3ds, lol. I’m extremely curious about what they’re going to do for the switch successor
I was wondering this recently, too. The two mobile games I miss most are tiny wings and the original fruit Ninja. But I remember playing Infinity Blade and other random games on my iPad touch that were really good back in 2010
I came across buried bornes 2, and it’s been ok so far. I have no idea if it has microtransactions or ads yet. It claims it does, but I’ve yet to see them. It’s not the best game I’ve played, but the concept is kinda interesting if you use your imagination a bit.
