That’s all the FromSoft games to be fair. I’m forcing myself to finish Dark Souls one for the first time right now and straight up? I fucking hate this game.
Haven’t played that one yet, but I went into Cyberpunk 2077 with extremely low expectations based on what people online said. Ended up one of my favorite games I’ve ever played.
I legitimately don’t understand why people love this endless stream of the same game over and over and over and over for exorbitant prices every single year.
This. I love GoG for what they do and their whole ethos, but I have damn near my entire collection already on Steam and like to condense as much as I can as hard as that may be. Steam is still by and far the best launcher, but every year GoG Galaxy gets a little bit closer to being an actual contender; literally all the rest are absolutely terrible dumpster fires.
Why is that by the way? On my PC I have Amazon, Battle.net, EA, Epic, GoG Galaxy 2.0, Itchio, Rockstar, and Uplay clients (along with some individual game launchers) and not a single one comes close to being as feature rich, streamlined, and just clearly built for the customer/player as Steam is. I know Valve has a lot more experience under their belt but it feels like the others aren’t even trying. Most of them are just in your face about their store fronts and barely function as a library after the fact.
I have the lowest of low expectations for Nintendo consoles. They’re always filled to the brim with gimmicks, that while creative, are not fun to use and then the best games are always ones that completely disregard the gimmicks anyhow. I wish they would focus more on making consoles that LOOK and FEEL good when you’re playing instead of trying to create the next new thing no one will care about in 5 years. They also really lost the plot on the Pokemon franchise and I feel like that will start to lose them a lot of money when people start to wake up from their comas and realize Gamefreak doesn’t know how to make video games and the last good one they made was am eternity ago.
