D-Day Normandy is a Quake 2 total conversion mod that is a standalone game. Our website is currently reduced to a forum, but we hope to get that back on track soon. The admin is currently unavailable… Anyways, WW2 FPS from around 2000. Class-based, objective or fraglimit (or both in some maps). Runs on everything these days. In the past there were games where you were given the option to install an optional HD texture pack. Can they simply do this here, too? Yes, they can. But no, gotta waste bandwidth…
I choose female characters because their hitboxes are smaller, or if the hitboxes are not smaller they will not match the hitbox and throw off any tracking. Smaller models means they might not be seen around corners by having part of the model sticking out.

Calling QC the best fps esport is something else. It’s the worst Quake ever released and the only reason it’s played is because Id keeps hosting tournaments for it. The engine and hit detection are horrible. I wish it was better.
I love hearing about unique takes on game mechanics. Someone recently convinced me that limited inventories are kind of abused currently and that unlimited inventory systems would give more player choices.
