Remember taking the balls out and scrapping all the dust and crap off the rollers? It was a guilty pleasure of mine, but some of the mice from that era got pretty dank. I had one in college that was basically a science experiment at graduation.
I totally regret buying that elite LCD that slots over the cooler, and all those Corsair fans + the case. I mean the hardware is fine, everything has been trucking a long for a really long time, the AIO, the fans, I’ve never had a problem with any of it from a hardware perspective. But it also means I’m locked into having that friggin ICue running in the background. The amount of other programs that app interferes with and basically fucks up, is unbelievable. I’m not buying anymore Corsair stuff, and iCue is 110% to blame for that.
I bought some sort of no name quasi-mechanical keyboard that came with a gaming mouse as a combo, that was like $60 on Amazon, five years ago. Literally my favourites, both of them. And I’ve had many different keyboards and mice over the years too.
They didn’t support either VR’s. Most of the titles for PSVR were third party, there was very little AAA support after the first few months around it’s release. Two years later it was dust and echos, just like PSVR2 (Blood & Truth arguably an exception, but I also believe it was still released within that two year window).
Honestly the biggest failure IMO, was because like usual, they didnt actually support it after release. I’ve fallen for this one too many times with Sony, but no more. Whenever Sony releases something other than their mainstream products, they immediately stop developing for it and basically rely on a bunch of third parties. Who usually give up shortly thereafter when they notice the dwindling support.
My vita is collecting dust with my PSVR, my PS proprietary headphones, and all the other useless shit Sony has released over the years.
I wish them the best of luck at these prices though. I get that the enthusiasts will clamor for it. There’s a couple million people that would buy a half eaten shoe for hundreds of dollars, if only Nintendo stamped their logo on it. Once the dust clears though (and this is a personal opinion and hunch), I bet Joe Public scoffs and it’s the WiiU#2.
Nothing to do with the fact there’s three Funko pops to every game for sale, and they price their used games pretty much as high as new ones. Not to mention every time I’ve tried to buy a new game there, they then try to sell it to me without the wrapper taking the disc from who knows where.
I undervolted my 5800x3d (each core individually) and it cut the temps by quite a bit, without affecting performance. Actually if anything you could say the performance arguably increased because it was no longer the hot little hog it was ootb.
I got super into it in the days after my daughter was born a couple years ago. I had a few weeks off work, so I was letting my wife get some sleep at night and I’d stay up playing Cyberpunk until the baby woke up and needed fed. I’m actually on the last mission on the main campaign, but for some reason still haven’t finished it.
Nothing screams, “I’m a piece of shit”, like basically putting on blast you are a piece of shit. I, too, never fully agreed with DEI as a whole. But I understand and appreciate the context and the point, and the necessity. It’s nothing to be mocked.
I also don’t look at the video game industry for inspiration though. Somehow the video game industry has a more rape-y and toxic culture than even the grimiest hockey dressing room. All that incel rage, I suppose.
You might be able to find the APK somewhere for pandemic. Might not work for the modern android builds, that’s likely what it is. That game was hard a f___.
I always had a soft spot for Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. Also Tiny Tunes: Babs Big Break. The Final Fantasy Legends games are good too, I particularly liked the second one. The Pokemon games are clutch too. These are all original Gameboy games.
