The Witcher 1 is a pretty standard CRPG styled like the original Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, etc, and all essentially running a modified Dungeons and Dragons ruleset behind the scenes.

It probably did feel a little dated because it simply was dated, even for 2007 and with some of the changes they made to keep things interesting.

You know I was trying to figure out why I lost interest in Chapter 3 and started playing Total War, and I think this is it (also a dialogue bug that made companions start spoiling the plot…)

I’ve never been a huge fan of inventory management and after a while it gets very tedious in BG3.

Jokes on me though, I’m playing Thorek in Warhammer 2 rn and he’s a crafting lord so I turned a semi-RTS into an inventory management game anyways.

I just got around to playing Total War Warhammer I (forgot it was in my library), and I’m ACHING for Total War: Warhammer 40k.

By the God Emperor, they will just print money with that shit if they don’t fuck up a working system like Warhammer 3 apparently did. Imagine all the DLC hero packs.

If it helps, just remember that the Imperial Guard don’t necessarily care if allies are in their line of fire in the first place…
