DarkThoughts,

I think they said a while ago that it won't be getting that unfortunately. It's a shame because the engine really would be perfect for full blown custom campaigns and whatnot, or even non linear open world modules.

DarkThoughts,

I checked the reviews & forum posts every now and then but from what I could gather it was buggy as shit. I think they also severely dumbed down the game's progression at some point during the alpha / beta phases.

DarkThoughts,

Sad but not a surprise. Had it on my wishlist for a long time, hoping they could get their shit together. Kinda was the only hack'n slay that gave me the same vibes that Diablo gave me in regards to the whole worldbuilding and atmosphere. I guess the genre is just dead. Oh well.

DarkThoughts,

Diablo 4 is garbage and so is "Blizzard".
Last Epoch is a completely different vibe.
Grim Dawn is a completely different vibe, boring, and doesn't have an archer class.
Path of Exile is boring and a completely different vibe.

Next.

DarkThoughts,

Not really, I'm just long enough around to have seen the whole gaming industry going to shits. Because of people like you who enable all the bullshit and apparently lack basic reading comprehension.

DarkThoughts,

Learn to read.

DarkThoughts,

DarkThoughts,

They went full toddler mode with MC a long time ago. No thanks.

DarkThoughts,

No idea. Never played it, no idea when it came out, never cared for it. I don't think it was necessarily a straight cut from one to the other but a gradual transition through various changes with the game and the company. I'd hazard a guess that this transition began before Story Mode though, even if it wasn't as apparent at the time, as it is today.

DarkThoughts,

People are mad about empty promises and vaporware that seemingly only exists to make CR even fatter.

DarkThoughts,

A tiny amount is, and most aren't. So that should answer your last question.

DarkThoughts,

It's Vulkan. And from the user reports I've seen it doesn't really seem to affect the still garbage performance.

DarkThoughts,

And I have "played" it multiple times for a short while over the years myself. Anyone saying it is perfectly playable in its current state is a liar and part of the cult. It's a glorified half broken tech demo.

And yes, it is vaporware, because there's so much feature creep that it will never see the light of day. They constantly completely re-write systems, often times systems that have been already re-written a couple of times. A lot of newer systems don't fit in well with previous systems or other aspects that are now very much outdated, which means they have to redo them too (like various ships). It's a constant redoing of things that have been done already. All while the major tech needed for what they claim to aim at is still not really there. And all of this comes on top of them adding completely new features instead of focusing on fixing & finishing what's already there.

DarkThoughts,

I'd like a HL3, but not yet another competitive pvp game. So not sure if that would be the right approach if they can't even hit the same target audience.

DarkThoughts,

I'm curious if they improved the builds. Coming from Isaac I was not so hot on Hades if I'm gonna be honest. Got burned out fairly quickly after not even 40 hours because it was very repetitive and I never felt like I could really build towards anything during the runs, while the story seemed to crawl to a halt as well.

DarkThoughts,

I have 95 hours in basic Isaac and 235 hours in Rebirth (And I know that's also on the lower end of things for quite a few other Isaac players).
I've not played Afterbirth+, let alone Repentance, since by the time I already kinda was so out of the game that I didn't want to re-learn it, but if I did that would likely add quite a few more hours onto it.

DarkThoughts,

That does look good. Though, I'm not sure the DLC ever go on sale since they are only available through the package deal. The store page for them is kinda weird.

DarkThoughts,

At that point why not run the Java version when you're using Linux anyway? Java apps run great on Linux (compared to Windows) and this also allows them to use the Fabric based performance mods too which would boost it even more.

DarkThoughts,

Also can 2 players play coop simultaneously if you have 2 steam decks?

Odd question? Why would the Deck not be able to do co-op? It's literally just a handheld Linux PC.

DarkThoughts,

Weird, considering how low quality Japanese porn games usually are, and how big the porn industry in Japan generally is. But hey, even Sony saw the light, and overall actually does a half decent job with most of their ports.

Though, we've heard the whole mantra of the death of the gaming PC for decades in the West too. And if anything, consoles got closer and closer to PCs, so arguably it seems kinda the other way around.

EA just added classics like Dungeon Keeper, SimCity 3000, and Populous on Steam (www.theverge.com) angielski

There hasn’t been a lot of good news out of EA lately, but here’s some: the company just launched a bunch of classic games on Steam. The new (old) releases include nine games in total, spanning franchises like Dungeon Keeper, Populous, and SimCity....

DarkThoughts,

I wish there were more god games, especially more complex / ambitious / large scale ones. Like a mixture of god game, 4X, and cult simulator.

DarkThoughts,

For me pretty much every single linear / story type game. Even great ones I sometimes attempted to have another run but would immediately get bored and ended up quitting. They just don't really offer anything to me to make it worth it. Even a lot of New Game Plus modes aren't cutting it, because they're typically just some extra items or abilities.

DarkThoughts,

Hmm, tough question since a lot of them I played personally years ago as I eventually began EA & Ubisoft, which have some of the more commonly known franchises here and the feelings I have towards them unfortunately also tainted their games and the experiences I had with them. And I also generally got much more into more open ended / non linear type of genres like sandbox, open world or 4X games.
I guess I enjoyed Horizon Zero Dawn quite a bit, I also love TLoU Part 1 & 2, even though Part 2 is probably the heaviest story game I've seen (not played since there's no PC port yet but I watched stupid amounts of Let's Plays at this point), a little underdog / hidden gem is probably CrossCode, which was a complete surprise hit for me and one of those games that I will always try to sell whenever I can get the opportunity for it.

DarkThoughts,

Is this supposed to refer to something specific?

DarkThoughts,

Would be nice indeed. Cheaper than what a Deckard will likely be (almost certainly in the 4 digit range) and no Facebook garbage. Though the wording in the article is kinda weird and almost sounds like you still require a PS5.

DarkThoughts,

To be honest, I mainly bought the game to make a statement & show my support for what type of treatment & product I want as a customer. Nowadays everything just seems to want to milk me, games are quite often literally designed around it so that it becomes a core part of the games themselves. And I'm so damn over all of this bullshit.
