@james@cycling@rower The polish law is a bit blurry on that. Childen under 10 on bicycles are considered pedestrians and have to be supervised by an adult (cannot use bike lane either). I think the code doesn’t say anything on the supervising adult being also on the bike. Never been stopped, though.
As a sole adult, there are special terms on which you can find yourself on the pavement legally (weather/speed limit/pavement width combo), but I’d still probably chose not to do that.
@james With kids - my best guess would be it’s not legal, but most of the people, including the polce do not mind, unless you are being deliberately reckless. @viq@cycling@rower

@rekiwi That sounds dope! I wish my kids were so eager for cycling! I’m trying to show them it’s an adventure, but age is their limit for now (7, 5 and 0,5). I’m a gravel converted roadie, doing half of the yearly distance at night, so I hope one day they will go out with me instead going to bed…😂 We will eventually get there! @cycling@rower

@james Yes! I made sure of it by going cycling yesterday at 9pm with a friend. I’ve done 50km… It was -1°C, we had some celebratory beer under the clouds and I came back home at 1am…😂@cycling@rower
Wcześniej trochę żałowałem, ale teraz cieszę się, że nie jeżdżę w tym roku Festive 500, bo dzisiaj jest dopiero drugi dzień przyzwoitej pogody, a od jutra ma znowu padać.
Szacunek wielki dla wszystkich szarpiących się z tym wiatrem, deszczem i zimnem!
@bobiko 200-300W?😂 Ja jechałem całe wyzwanie na 120W, grając w tym czasie w gry. Nie ma szans, żebym wytrzymał to mentalnie gapiąc się na ludzika na Zwift… Ponad 3h w domu to dla mnie orka i już trochę lekka przesada…@LukaszHorodecki@rower
