Nowadays i use sportscult.org, it’s a private tracker that also offers live tv, and i haven’t really done anything but watch f1 on there. Less ads/buffering. They have open signups every now and then.
I kept an eye on www.reddit.com/r/trackersignups/ (well the previous one calles r/opensignups, they open registratations every 2-4months for a couple of days usually.
I never tried donating, and it is a private tracker most foremost, torrenting replays and the likes. Live TV is just an addition, so I’d be a little weary of donating for something that isn’t the main objective of said site.
you could also try your luck asking in that weekly reddit thread for an invite, it might work out
I assume it creates some sort of save file in the current working directory?
You may try changing the working directory via batch script, if you’re on Windows.
Make a text file, name it something like launch.bat (the actual name may be whatever you want, just make sure you leave the extention .bat) Paste this there:
Be sure to replace game.exe with your game’s .exe filename. Don’t delete any double quotes, they are important.
Put this text file near .exe file of your game, and make a shortcut of it to your desktop. You may rename a shortcut and choose an icon from your game’s .exe file to make it pretty.
After that just launch the shortcut as you normally would. If I’m correct, the game should create it’s .bin file in the script directory and not in your desktop.
Not that this was one of your listed options, but have you considered setting up your own Plex/Jellyfin/Emby server along with the *arrs and adding her to that? You can’t get much more snappy and Netflix-like than that.
I can’t imagine this would offer a very pleasant viewing experience for a first timer when it relies on stuff like YTS, RARBG (they need to update their page apparently), KAT, EZTV, and TPB. I can see the potential for her to be bombarded with a bunch of fakes and low quality rips.
I presently have both uBlockorigin and Brave’s native adblockers at work, so not sure how it slipped through there. Definitely gonna look at the userscript manager though
dont do that if you are gonna play to use ublock origin stick to ublock origin as braves built in adblock can interfere with ublock origin which can make sites slower to load
movie and tv streaming and sports. I wonder if it wasn’t one of the sports sites as it was a sports betting pop up, but the susflix was the only site that seemed to have anything bad according to the virustotal site.
probably but it was on the FMHY wiki with a star, so idk. Kinda weird that one of the best and most trusted pirated resources would have a malware site listed as one of the best options
General discussion of illegal activities is legal, but distributed methods/keys/software to bypass DRM is not. In addition to the poster getting in trouble, the admins of multiple instances could at minimum be forced to delete the content, and at worst get their asses kicked by Nentendo’s legal team, and be forced to reveal the identities of the user that posted it.
In my jurisdiction downloading pirated stuff is perfectly legal. It’s only illegal when you’re distributing it. And even for jurisdictions where it’s not legal even to download pirated stuff, companies don’t much care about people who download, but only those who upload and as far as I know, you can discuss pirating all you want and nothing’s illegal.
