Good looking out

From the site:

DarkPattern.Games is a brand new website. We are starting with iOS and Android games because this is where most dark patterns appear, but we will be adding other platforms soon.
Because we are new, we have a lot of games that don't have any reviews yet. This will improve over time and we are working hard to get games reviewed. Please help us by finding a familiar game and submitting a review.

Amusing that aside from the GPU TFLOPS the rest of it is a slight improvement if at all

Now this is a real oldie but a goodie. Glad to see that it is mostly unknown from the ratio. Obligatory downvote

Oh no, the author passed away? I remember enjoying this and wanting to check back later when it was more finished.

This is a fantastic game. I haven't finished it; I screwed myself over by losing patience and skipping content near the end and wound up stumbling into the final boss so underpowered that I effectively softlocked myself. I should play this through again and stick to a completionist play style.

This sounds really interesting. I'm gonna put this on my wishlist in hopes it goes on sale or something. Can't justify $25 right now due to circumstances.

I had a good amount of fun with this game, it's a shame I have to downvote it. It was a little difficult to get into at first, but I stuck with it and had a lot of fun. I chose to develop a big-ass ship like you speak of and eventually became a lumpy Death Star knockoff.

Skyward Sword in particular was pretty linear despite technically having a literal 'overworld' of sorts.

It hasn't aged too badly, but it's from an era where you were not necessarily expected to figure everything out on your own -- talking about it with IRL friends or reading tips and tricks in a magazine (or on the early Internet/Usenet) were pretty normal. I would say give it a try but don't be hesitant to look for a guide if you get stuck or lost.

The original Legend of Zelda. You had a large open overworld to explore, and IIRC could do many of the dungeons in any order.

subignition, do gaming w Twitch banned Dr Disrespect after viewing messages sent to a minor, say former employees
@subignition@fedia.io avatar

Twitch probably doesn't care beyond reputational damage/liability.

a settled lawsuit between Twitch and Beahm, where neither party admitted to any wrongdoing, and his contract was paid.

In fact it sounds like Twitch made an effort to keep it quiet, which was successful until these former employees spoke out (hope they don't suffer consequences)

Edit to add: Which is not to say there couldn't be separate consequences. It's just not going to come from Twitch. I'm sure a certain three letter agency is quite a bit more interested in Beahm now.
