Would it be better to become a darkspawn or die? Generally I’d prefer a series cater to the heart of the series instead of fuck off into an unwanted and disconnected direction.
I feel like the story has good ideas but ultimately fails, personally. I like the idea of struggling against inevitable tragedy, but when the cause of such tragedy was against always immediately in arms reach of you and caused by a single person it falls flat.
Access journalism. If you agree to say whatever EA wants EA gives you first access to the next game, which increases your views. Idk the exact process for this game, but big publishers often bribe these reviewers with expensive vacations too (it’s why they fly journalists out to demo the game instead of sending the outlets a digital demo), Bethesda did it with 76 for instance.
Stupid, but maybe stupid in a good way? Right wing grifters target kids all the time, if a moderate acknowledges them maybe they’ll be less likely to fall into a pipeline.
I mean, this trailer really papers over the bad parts. If i didn’t already see the original trailer and the gameplay i could be taken in by it. That said, i did see those, so I’m just gonna watch EA put bioware down from a distance.
Consoles have gone almost nowhere since the xbox, of course they aren’t going to be generating infinite growth. The ps5 controller is the first change in consoles I’ve seen in years that was genuinely interestingv outside of graphical quality. Nintendo is, of course, an exception to that. Every console they release is either genuinely different to the last or meaningfully upgraded, other business practices aside.
Not necessarily. MMOs have a lot of room for emergent story telling opportunities that just don’t exist in other mediums, things like community events that genuinely matter or developers responding to major trends in the player base. although i very rarely see good MMO design like that in MMOs, could be that i just don’t look at a lot of them though.
We all know this was completely necessary at any level, but why the hifi guys? Aren’t they the best bets you could hope to invest in? They make good games that sell decently with less investment than AAA massive failures need.
