First time I heard this was in a buddy’s car and it was bumpin’ hard. I asked him who the band was and was totally surprised when he told me it was from a video game. Very very solid stuff v all the way through
The Atari 2600 joysticks were a blight. The base was so small and the stick so unresponsive I remember having to hold the base steady with my feet to use that accursed controller. The breakout dial controller was pretty sweet tho.
I take issue with labeling this game as “hotly anticipated”. Literally did not hear about this game until now and from what I’m reading it seems like another boring ARPG with a new coat of paint slapped onto the same mechanics.
Uff took about 3 hours for the email to arrive it seems. When I clicked the link today after checking my mail again, it said the link was expired reeeeee. I’ll probably just wait for the official release. Thanks for your help though!
Star control 3 was garbage that was star control in name only.
Star control: Origins was made by assholes at Paradox Entertainment that tired to steal the IP from the original creators. The game was basically a pretty soulless carbon copy of star control 2 without the witty dialogue or creative story telling of the original.
Neither of these “prequel/sequels” were made by the original creators Fred Ford and Paul Reiche III.
That’s why this Kickstarter is fire AF. The OG creators have full control here and are making it with the original vision that made sc2 great!
