I am, as you might imagine, very much on the left politically. Pretty extremely so. In fact I feel that's the only way for decent people to be and I have no truck with anyone who isn't.
The illegal colonial occupation regime known as canada considers me a citizen just exactly as though it weren't founded on theft and had the right to issue citizenship. I consider my use of this citizenship a moral grey area at best.
I would have no problem abolishing canada and giving the land back to the First Nations, and then they can decide how it's administered, under what name, and so on.
