5.1 sound system from DaLi (Danish Loudspeakers). Even the Oberon series is fine for ambience. Love losing myself in Zelda BotW and its weather effects. A good subwoofer adds a lot to the experience aswell.

Jokes aside, I had the same experience. I didn’t understand anything and went “hm, what?” every other minute. As soon as I stopped trying to understand it was a fever dream of enjoyable nonsense.
sadly they live 80km apart from each other, and both are right handed, so they couldn’t face each other while playing. We’d need a pretty weird dual-monitor setup if we’d tape them together.
It’s funny because he played the goddamn boss of Death Stranding which I played against for 70h before beating him on my first playthrough on the highest difficulty.
