Thousands of hours on high brightness with a static image and it will start to retain elements of the image.
The torture test is important but what ya boi needs to do now is to create a more realistic test. Using static elements for maybe 6 hours at a time every day. That’s still “torture” as most users are probably not playing the same game for that long, but still within the realm of possibility.
I don’t care about skins like, at all. And intentionally leave my characters with whatever the defaults are just to show other people how much I don’t care.
But definitely in my younger years wanted whatever was the hot thing at the time. I remember at one point it was yo-yos. And the “TalkBack” from Home Alone. And Furby. And Tomagotchi.
instead of defaulting to my local server, manually chose one in Europe, and sure enough Europe had many available servers, I could play in again like if it was the first state
Yeah I have to disagree with you on that one. I understand where you’re coming from but you can game on high end equipment without buying it. Not to mention the situation with heat build-up in my room. Basically sharing the costs with 100 other users.
When my current PC is dead in 5 years or whatever I will probably transition to cloud gaming (and SteamDeck).
