to be fair they gave a motivation for their comment. They aren’t tearing down a windows user, or even evangelising it, in fact you’re the one having an issue.
Many of the old Sierra and Dynamix adventure games are great. Kings Quest IV through VII are probably the ones that hold up best. The adventures of Willy Beamish, Heart of China, Police Quest and Space Quest.
I also couldn’t get into the witcher 3, I think it had been over hyped to me. I found the combat a bit clunky and the story didn’t grab me. I got as far as the undead foetus mission with the baron, and sort of never came back to it
500mhz must be updated for what ever they’ve done to it- I remember playing it in 1999 on a 133mhz pentium on Windows 98 (and I also remember testing in on NT4 and it actually worked!)
