Meh, still a good value IMO, at $240/yr I just need to play 3 60$ games/yr and I currently average about 4 maybe 5 a year. Not to mention the money I save when I don’t like a game, I would have bought starfield if not for GP and that would have been 60 bucks wasted right there since I dropped it after a month lol

There are lots of examples of online services being REd to bring old games back to life, but doing it after the service has been killed off is A LOT of work
If more people captured network traffic of these services before they’re killed it’ll probably make REing the service much easier later
I think Outer Worlds does this, (Well not the whole puking thing lmao) if you eat/drink too much of the same thing you get hit with a debuff or something. You can also develop addictions iirc with certain foods, drugs and alcohol where you get slapped with a debuff if it gets too long since you last consumed ut
Fuck that, fuck kernel anti-cheats. Third party AVs have caused enough BSODs because of their kernel hooks and was finally able to free myself when MS defender actually got good.
It’s a pretty good value if you play at least 1 AAA title every 3 months or 1 indie game a month. I’ve tried games I never would have bought (Some I didn’t like and I liked game pass even more for it, because now I’m not out 20-60+$ or having to research every game or make sure I play within refund limits) and it’s cratered my desire to sail the Gaming seas.
It’s kinda like the good days of Netflix, but for games, I’d get in and enjoy it while it lasts because we all know where it’ll end up eventually…
