Just started playing cities: skylines 2 (with gamepass, I didn’t preorder) and I think it’s good. The performance, while bad, isn’t as bad as people are saying. I’m on low settings + 1080p with a gtx 1650 super, and a ryzen 7 5700x and I get around 20-30 frames, which is bad but not unplayable and there will be mods that improve this.
It’s not going to be worse than KSP2. KSP2 launched with game breaking bugs and all of the new features missing (and some of the old ones) as well as bad performance on ALL graphic settings no matter the specs. CS2 has features that differ it from the first game and the performance issues (allegedly) can be fixed by turning settings down (unlike KSP2). Both games launched (or will launch) without modding support which is really bad for both games.
I meant that this is something that not many other companies would say. And it doesn’t matter if it’s the law, big companies still prevent it from happening.
In anno 1800 (which is the only game I’ve played with denuvo) it still needs to have a connection to the ubisoft servers to run, so live service isn’t just about dodging 3rd party drm
If you ignore the server performance issues and bugs, star citizen is completely playable on my system and I have below reccomended specs (for starfield & star citizen). If star citizen can have no loading screens with most planets as populated (or more populated) then starfield’s planets while also having to manage server resources, then starfield has almost no excuse to have loading screens.
I think your just playing games that don’t have a grid. I still play a lot of games with a grid. If you want a strategy game that has a grid, my dad has been playing a lot of jagged alliance 3 and has been saying very positive things about it.
