Someone religious once told me that’s because the games/media are like “saying that this demons exists” and by doing that give them power or something like that, didn’t pay much attention after the first bullshit.
Yeah I played Divinity Original Sin this weekend and my internet died Saturday, finished the game, when my internet got back on Monday steam saved my +15hr and the achievements but I also let my PC on and steam opened hoping for the best.
At least on PC if you play a game without internet connection the library update the achievements/hours played when you reconnect, is different when you log in the offline mode?
No dude the writing sucks because the writer is underpaid, is sucks because someone want quick cash, is sucks because who make decisions doesn’t want quality he wants money.
Mad Max Fury Roads is a fucking woke movie but was been made for a long fucking time, the storyboard was made decades ago and when they finally film it they got all the time in the world for editing and even after numerous setbacks during production and the “woke” plot is one of the best action film ever made.
He need to watch some star trek to see some “woke” or Dune, one of the most powerful organization in the galaxy is just women, so “woke”, not even gonna say of the plot been about colonization, too much leftist wokerism on this series.
The only way this is marginally correct is if he is comparing to the money needed to create an AAA title. And in the end the company making the AAA title will have the cost operation to host/distribute and have all the others features Valve offers if they decide to do it in their own storefront.
What I found most interesting is that the real alternative of cutting down Valve is giving the money that Valves make to multiple others shittier companies. In the end of the day the money will not go to the people that’s actually work on the game.
The game has proper navigation between planets, you gravjump because space even between planets are huge and nobody wants to travel multiple hours, days, weeks or months (depending how close to the limit of C your story allows) in empty interplanetary space from planet A to planet B in the same system.
The problem is how is presented, the loading screen play a role here too. If the gravjump was only the animation starting then you exiting without the black screen, or a more lengthy jump put you can move in your ship while the jump is happening the amount of loadings would not be so noticiable.
If the game had a proper navigation between planets and less loadings I think the game would not receive so much criticism. The procedural generated content is not good but is not awful.
