The story was so absolutely absurd in the first few hours. It lost me when they introduced Die Hard Man and a few other plot elements. There’s no way I could have ever finished it, and I love the convoluted mess of Metal Gear lore.
What better way to show your game isn’t mired in controversy by disabling likes and comments on your showcase video. This isn’t going to end well, but I hope I’m wrong.
The original Final Fantasy. If you don’t have a walk-through open next to you I have no idea how you would naturally beat the game in a respectable time frame.
If anything this has raised my bar for TES 6. I didn’t play 4 just as you did and sunk an ungodly amount of time into 5. I also played fallout 3 at the time of launch so I feel like I’m fairly versed in Bethesdas formula.
The progress from 4 to 5 is obvious. They put a lot of love into making Skyrim better than its predecessor in tons of ways. With the absolute flop of Starfield, they’re putting all their chips into TES 6 and they know it. They’re going to stick to the core gameplay that everyone expects, but how they expand and improve upon it is really what will make or break them. If they get the story telling down, it’s all up to the mechanics of the game and design of the world.
My bar has absolutely raised by them putting this remaster out.
Fuck yes. Onimusha 2 in all its glory. I get to experience the frustration and the payoff all like I did when I was a kid. So absolutely excited they’re bringing back this series.
Hearthstone was doing this about a year ago when I quit. It was actually great for the game and really shook things up in the Wild format where you could play any set of cards. But Blizzard shit the bed on that one like usual, oh well.
