I respect the hustle, but as a professional gameplay programmer : the fuck did you expect ? Piling systems upon systems does indeed increase the game logic’s complexity exponentially. Probably a big reason why there are so few (good) immersive sims even though it’s quite the popular genre.
Save scumming is such a staple of modern XCOM that it’s actually a toggle. Just like when I was save scumming in fire emblem, you can probably just mutate the seed differently by taking different actions before attacking though.
Doesn’t Tarkov model this somewhat correctly ? (Save for the wind not affecting bullets, and the optics zeroing/distance setting being a bit too arcade-y)
I agree, but I liked the pacing of it. Ciri’s fights were pretty fun, unchallenging as they were. The fact that they were pretty sparse and short probably helped
