Graphics are only part of it, with the power that is there I am disappointed in the low quality put to rrlease. I loved Jedi survivor, a brilliant game but it was terribly optimised. I booted it today and had nothing but those assest loading flashes as walls and structures in my immediate vicinity and eyeline flashed white into existence.
Good games arent solely reliant om graphics but christ if they dont waste what they have. Programmers used to push everything to the max, now they get away with pushing beta releases to print.
Ps2 Mortal Kombat games were the best, they have beem sliding ever since.
Deadly Alliance is a slog for story/Konquest but a fun game.
Deception is so so good, one of my favourite games ever. Doesnt really hold up as well as Id like but it has brilliant features that I miss in every modern iteration. Namely the best konquest implementation. Chess Kombat.
Shaolin Monks, another one on par with Deception. I have to replay this next.
Armageddon is carnage, just fun fun all the way through. Every character from the entire run of the franchise is playable, it is everythimg.
Ok well Im not an idiot, I have plenty of comms apps and that one died really quickly presumably because everyone’s experience was as boring and disjointed as mine
Meh I’d drop 100 plus on standard night out. I dont buy many games but buying God of War Ragnarok for 30 and getting 100 hours of entertainment was well worth it, to the point I regret not buying it full price day one.
Sony could have innovated more, I am switching to PC currently becuase of how boring this generation is. I dislike psn, how they present the homescreen info. Its just shite. XMB all the way, more customisable, more user friendly and more capable…no ads.
It could have gone anywhere, the rumour was modern day third to close out the story.
It could have gone to settlements in space, templar industry types creating advanced cities to escape a doomed earth allowing for a cryogenically frozen Desmond to believeably do some of the stunt in space conditions.
Instead they picked random times and shoehorned in a rethread story barely expanding on the lore by walking all over it.
