for me mine are 1. Elden Ring, 2. RDR2 3. BOTW, all because they genuinely blew my mind when playing them for the first time and changed how I saw and played video games.
The good news is that they are scared. First, they ignored it. Next they tried to debate, well lie, their way out of it.
No one is buying their story or is feeling sorry for those greedy bastards. So they take the other route, attack the opponent and question their intentions/ credibility.
Sometimes there is an option for a company or people to so good things with good intentions, good things with bad intentions, bad things with good intentions and just plain bad shit.
Not everything Nintendo does is bad nor is it good. But when doing a good thing, it can be just that. A good thing.
Yes, their community management sucks. Their trigger happiness with anything legal is awful. But they can do also do good things.
… Or look up the lifecyle of most of their products. The support is a whole lot longer than four years.
They have no micro transactions and the games are finished when released. Yes, they have their bad side too. So does Sony and Microsoft. There are no good guys in business. Just less bad.
But the beauty is, vote with your wallet. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it
