I want some advice, I started a new playthrough, and the furthest I got before this one was going into caesar’s camp or something dressed as one of his legion, but when I returned to the friendly faction, I left the armour on by mistake and they turned on me, and I lost my save.
I haven’t got a companion yet, but I’m about to fix ED-E. What happens if I try something similar, and try to dress up like a normally enemy faction and go to their base with a companion (ED-E or other)? I’m trying to do a speech/int run , how should I manage my companions so they only shoot when I start to get into combat, or I am sneaking around or walking around in costume?
it’s survivor bias because having one or two good games in a tidal wave of indie bug riddled, knockoff messes isn’t exactly the same thing as the innovations from back in the day. Some asshole’s Amnesia knockoff or twin stick shooter being good is hardly surprinsing when 5000 of them come out daily.
Your point is moot because there is an unending hose of indie games being created and knowing that 2 gems exist doesn’t mean the rest of the cottage industry measures up to the things being achieved earlier, and nor does said indie scene have a similar rate of success as the old industry back then.
I pre ordered no man’s sky, because the people who made fucking Joe Danger said “I’m going to procedurally generate a universe”
I played it a bit at launch, but the antihype, especially spoilers about the ending made me stop. It’s a bit dense to try to get back into at the moment, but I regret nothing. I paid a modicum so that the guys that made Joe Danger could make a universe, and because me and people like me didn’t demand a refund, they got to do it.
