I agree that Bethesda has done a fine job with it, but I don’t agree that we should pretend that none of the other games ever existed just so you don’t feel left out.
The only nudity is a male butt, but there is no question that they are having sex. I was comfortable with my 15&16yo teenagers watching it, but might be awkward with middle schoolers.
Did you get a chance to watch the show on Amazon yet? The kids and I watched the first two episodes last night. So far, it feels like Fallout, and I am not disappointed!
Yeah, that news is more concerning than anything. BG3 was great and they want to recreate that by letting EVERYONE make a D&D game, and I’d bet the developers are just as focused on the BG3 hype money, instead of actually making good games.
What Remains of Edith Finch. A psychological horror game that REALLY sucks you in. As you play, there is a lot of stuff that doesn’t make any sense, but there’s a secret (disturbing) meaning behind it all.
I spent a good chunk of a Saturday going through it and there’s no need to do it again, but it was a great ride!
I used to think that Xbox controllers ALWAYS drift within a year.
Then I started keeping a secret controller away from the kids. It lasted years with no drift. I got a new one and let the kids use my old one… Drift in a month.
It’s not the controllers. You just drop it too much.
I have another theory, and please don’t be offended if I’m wrong.
Maybe it wasn’t a game at all.
Could it have been The Bishop of Battle from the movie Nightmares? You might have Mandela-effected this game from memories of that movie and similar games you had played.
