I wish i had grown up on Halo, having played most of the games now. When i was first starting to get into gaming Halo 3 had just released and i tried it and wrote it off as just a Sci-fi multiplayer shooter. I was young, but damn. I didn’t know what i was missing out on. I had no idea about the Flood and the entire campaign. It took a while for me to realize the Flood was A actual enemy, and not some name for Zombies in the Infection mood.
I can see this reflected in the game for sure. It feels very COD-esque. The sprint always being an option is definitely the stand out example of this, but there’s also how much faster it feels in general. Along with the AR feeling more precise
Someone actually suggested it the other day to me on one of these posts and it looked interesting. I was having network issues at the time but it looked good and i saved it for later
I hadn’t thought of tearing down the stairs, it’s a good idea. We had gotten a sledge hammer we found on the side of the road on the way there so maybe we’ll give it a try
For sure, at least imo. I have met a few people who prefer singleplayer. Multiplayer and Singleplayer honestly though feel like two completely different vibes
We haven’t really made a lore explanation for it. They are the same character we know, but as far as continuity, we make references though to previous “lore events” though and treat it like it’s just another day of the zombie apocalypse. I guess if i had to try and explain it, some unexplained event happened that caused Jerry and Cable to have to start over?
Jerry and Cable in Baldurs Gate was a Dimension hop though
Rimworld has been on my list for a bit. Same with Factorio, but i have Satisfactory which afaik is a similar vibe. I’ve been meaning to pick them both up though, i just keep putting it off
Ah. Okay. That makes sense. I looked it up on online and saw the same thing and just assumed it was something limited to the original game since the lobby doesn’t seem to protect him. It’s reassuring though to know there’s places for me to catch my breath
I feel that lol. He really is a terrifying threat. I’m not used to my horror games basically throwing a big invincible enemy at me, especially for such a long period of time
Thanks for that. It’s reassuring to know there are some safe places.
Is the main lobby area of the station excluded from this? I went down to the typewriter there and while i was saving he snuck up on me clocked poor Leon in the face.
When I started this it was at some point in my life. Around the 30 day mark though it just kind of evolved into 1 Game Daily.
I have a really open schedule right now (I’m a college student and only have classes 3 days of the week) so usually my days are pretty relaxed with lots of downtime. Though sometimes things do get a little exhausting such as during midterm seasons. I feel like it kind of shows in my posts during that time
It is playable solo. I have the most fun playing with friends, but there’s a great deal of fun to be had playing Single Player too. It has different vibes single player but id stills recommend it
