My last (and only) 1.4 colony. It started with only 2 colonists and snowcrawler vehicle. Turns out they've got a history, so colony populated only by their various offspring and grandma. Map is 500x500, so had to crop generously. Randy, 500%.
No killbox, CE, only two turret points and armored vehicles/power armor to survive the constant onslaught. I always play with techprints required for every tech to add a bit of randomness to progression and force me to have colonist gone for a long time on trading trips, but that is usually countered by flying vehicles in late game.
Every room is outfitted based on colonist personality. For example Bebe, the grandma, is tortured artist and arsonist, so her room is stained with paint and have a lot of painting within. Her room is the leftmost at the bottom. She's the artist of the colony and supplied other rooms with art. The only non-related pawn is a 4-years old highmate girl saved from raiders. She was planned to be the wife of last son of colony founders and the only colony-born child.
It's always losing is fun for me. I've started playing Rimworld after watching Pete Complete's playtrough on ice sheet and loosing is fun and decided that this is the thrill I want and the game I want. Lowe difficulty just doesn't click for me.
