This makes me feel even more uneasy about Double Fine’s acquisition by Microsoft: I’m afraid that MS could someday deem the studio redundant and kill it rather than let employees buy it back just like Bungie was allowed to do back then.
I only played a couple hours yesterday, something like 5 games.
I like the gameplay: it’s relatively simple and for once my skills are not too shitty.
It seem to require quite a bit of cooperation and unfortunately, as I don’t have my group of friends anymore, I ended playing with randos which led to inconsistent games: one game I had a great team, the other we were too scattered to win.
Finally, I have to play a little bit more to form an opinion, but I’m afraid that the gameplay will be a bit too repetitive for me.
It’s a tool that makes a survey of Steam games ownership and play times based on public information on Steam Community. It’s useful to game developers and journalists as it allows them to know what is popular.
Oh and Steam Spy has been developed and released before he joined Epic Games.
Somehow I was convinced that Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart was Insomniac’s first always-on ray-tracing game and that non-raytraced graphics had been added to the PC port but I was completely wrong.
I haven’t played much of the Beta yet so I don’t have any opinion on your feedback, but just keep in mind that this Beta is based on an April 2023 build and that its main objective is to stress-test their infrastructure, so there’s a chance that some of your complaints may have been tweaked by now ign.com/…/payday-3-open-beta-release-date-confirm…
