Most of the communities with significant spam problems have no moderators other than ernest. It's up to him to recruit more people to help moderate those.
Star Wars has been described as "science-fantasy" for decades. I wasn't aware that there was any controversy on this point. At least the author of the article admitted to the fact that it is blatant click-bait.
That said, some Star Wars novels could easily fit into the traditional science fiction framework. That's one of the things I love most about the franchise: It accommodates all genres!
I requested to be added as a moderator to m/opensource, which is one of the worst offenders right now. Hopefully Ernest will accept some of the requests that people are making.
I think it's actually a good thing that there aren't a ton of moderator applications. It means the userbase aren't the same basement dwelling keyboard tyrants that Reddit had. Still, right now we could use more mods either way.
Most of the magazines being spammed in right now only have a single moderator, and it's Ernest. He needs to appoint additional moderators for magazines that he is the only moderator of.
I gotta say, I don't know what I would do if one of my projects took off the way kbin has. It's good to see you holding on after eight months of this crazy ride.
That's disappointing. Some level of unmet expectations are to be, well, expected for a sequel to such a cultural behemoth as Cities: Skylines, but it sounds like Colossal Order made some sacrifices on the release date altar. Such a shame.
