I don’t have Sims 2, I have Sims 4, but I may have missed Sims 2. My old computer couldn’t open the epic games launcher, so I missed the first six or eight months of games.
On the one hand, they were fun back in the day. On the other, who the fuck is supposed to intuitively figure out that I need a plate of spaghetti to give the bouncer? He didn’t say he was hungry, there was no indication that he wanted food to let me pass, it was totally random in far too many cases.
What I mean is… sometimes people are very loyal to a videogame franchise or a company because they loved a game they released years ago (Silent Hill/Konami with Silent Hill 2, Blizzard/Bethesda with their respective golden eras, some could argue this happens too with Pokémon and Final Fantasy, etc). The true irony here is that TSR went bankrupt because they tried to mess with the community content licenses that were basically gentleman’s agreements at the time, allowing WotC to purchase D&D in the first place with 3rd edition. I hope they sell the property to someone that understands how to run that golden goose, without expecting unlimited growth.
This is what worries me about Dyson Sphere Program. They “technically” have a finished product right now, and are still in beta. Hopefully they get the Dark Fog implemented before they have to kill the project.
