hayes_, angielski I played the base game on gamepass a few months ago when I was fiending for an xcom-like.
I wanted to like it more than I actually liked it and uninstalled it after a few hours.

I had a similar experience. No shade to the game, it’s functional and enjoyable… just never captured me.
And I’m a big 40k fan
