Hollow Knight. I watched someone on YouTube play it and I just don’t want to spend that much time playing that kind of game. I’m someone who grew up playing Mario 64, Mario sunshine, Mario Galaxy and I just recall spending so much time playing those games as a kid. So much time wasted. Cannot bring myself to do that again. I’m pretty stubborn and so I know because I wasted so much time on those Nintendo games that I would pull ridiculous amounts of time on another game like that. Not worth it anymore for me.

I honestly want to play skyrim on the Switch 2, but I won’t because the input controls function so poorly and the framerate is subpar. I was excited for when we got the boost in power on the Switch 2 but Bethesda fumbled it. Hopefully they do fix Skyrim and that they launch Fallout 4 in a good state with a gold framerate.
Even if you don’t mind the online only part, ignore this abomination. They botched the D4 campaign. It’s too easy and almost impossible to die during the regular campaign. It takes roughly two minutes to beat a world boss on the first play through.
Out of all the artists/bands, your image has Tessa Violet. Which is insane to me, because I can remember watching her like 15 years ago on a show called =3 with Ray William Johnson. Which was essentially a comedy show that brought you 3 viral videos, and then RWJ would try to be funny over them. Nobody watched =3 for RWJ, and nobody watched Americas Funniest Home Videos for Bob Sagat. We watched both shows for the same reason. To watch idiots get hit in the nuts.
Then one episode, a 15 year old Tessa Violet, then known as Meekakitty, shows up and starts the episode by saying “Betcha didn’t think you’d see ME here!”
And I’m like “BITCH I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!”
But then RWJ tried making music, and she was in his videos. Then she started making music. And I never heard from either of them again because both of their music is terrible.
Tessa is like accoustic guitars, and whiney crying lyrics. And RWJ, despite being close to 25 at the time wrote novelty comedy songs all based around the idea of having sex with your mom. As if written for an exclusively 14 year old boy audience.
Now I see this, and I’m like “eh? She’s STILL making music???”
Are we talking about strictly Tetris concept only? Or any game that goes in that direction? Or about all games with “Tetris” in the name? And how far is it allowed to go, until its no longer Tetris? Have a look at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Tetris_variants
I grew up with Tetris on the original Game Boy from 1989. So I have a sweet spot for that game. There is Tetris & Dr. Mario on the SNES, which combines both games. I have so many memories with a friend playing a mixed mode where both games are played in a session. If we count anything that has Tetris in the name, then it’s Tetris Attack on the SNES for me.
There are also Tetris variants I never played too much, but I think they would have been classics for me too. Tetris Battle Gaiden on SNES looks interesting and fun. Lot of people say Tetris The Grand Master (1 or 2) on Arcade (and later ported to other systems) might be the best version, but I never played it.
In short, I don’t know how to answer this question. And I couldn’t with a certainty either I think.
