Oooh I was thinking of grabbing Steins. I know I watched the anime several years ago and enjoyed it, but only have hazy recollections of the plot. Doing the VN seems just enough same, just enough different to be fun.
Just finished Tyranny and Pilliars of eternity so I’m picking up the sequel Deadfire. Checked out the price history last week and seems like it’s regularly 75% off during seasonal sales so I’m pleased to see it at $10.
Fantastic story, voice acting and mechanics. It’s such an odd mix of deck building, crafting and VN romance. Yet it delivered on all fronts with a solid character writing that kept surprising me.
I’m suprised and a lil’ confused why you would share this story in response. Respectfully, it feels like you’re shifting blame. Like, okay, sure, It’s your sister’s birthdays fault you gave money to a terf.
I mean, you do you but if the trans persecution isn’t a deal breaker when it comes to something so basic as media choices. Then, whatever. Own it.
My wife and I each 100%'d Talos 2 and it was abundantly amazing. It had been years since either of us completed 1 but the way the story is structured you hear about the events of the first game in detail pretty regularly. I’m trying to be vague for spoilers. And of course I’m not trying to talk out of replaying 1, but just know you don’t have to, understand 2, and in my opinion it might be a touch tedious to do them back to back.
Both fantastic games tho that started a lot of good conversations between us.
