Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros, because the tutorials never stop. Even 20 hours into the game, it will explain which button to press in exhausting detail every single time. Gave up the game due to this.
On the opposite side, ΔV: Rings of Saturn. The tutorial does a really bad job of explaining the (very unusual) controls of the game. Worse, you can accidentally leave the area during the tutorial, which cancels the tutorial altogether so you have to restart the game. That happened to me twice. Third time was the charm though, and I did enjoy the game afterwards.
It will be interesting to see how these kind of things develop over the next few years. Of course, it’s very enticing for developers to use AI voices, as they can probably save massive amounts of money through it. Will the voice actors have any options to stop this?
I’ve played the Divinity games, which are very good CRPGs, but in my opinion, Baldur’s Gate 3 is in another league compared to those. The amount of choices and possibilities the game offers and its sheer vastness are amazing. Add to that the many fully voiced and well directed cutscenes and you have an awesome game that manages to appeal not only to hardcore CRPG fans.
Yup. No way to give it a 5/10. With so many people (IMO rightfully) disappointed with what they turned Overwatch into, of course they won’t recommend it. Though no doubt some people now only want to pile on the negative reviews for fun.
Guess that means that custom servers will be monetized in future games and using unofficial free services will get you banned. Maybe I’m too cynical, but it’s Rockstar after all.
There is no indication of such a chip existing or even being possible currently. The Tegra revision rumored to be in the Switch 2 is a good deal less powerful than a Steam Deck.
Very unlikely. Nintendo is going for the mass market and the bulk, power draw and cost of handheld PCs makes them unsuited for that. Nintendo has never been very successful going after the high-end market. They’ll no doubt use something like an upgraded Tegra again.
Playing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on the PC. Bought it on a whim and it’s quite a good game with gorgeous graphics. Lacking polish in some areas though, for example there are many oddly placed invisible walls as well as points where the character can get stuck. Anyway, trying to finish the game before Baldur’s Gate 3 comes out.
Played this ages ago, when it was a small but well made VR-exclusive prototype with one train and a very small track through a basic landscape. Cool to see how it developed since then, definitely giving this another go at some point.
25 players is not a lot for what they call an MMO. I’m a bit skeptical of the game, but I signed up for the beta and will give it a go. Most games going for an Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley vibe just fail to capture what makes those games special.
