I went back to Fallout New Vegas today. I’m hoping to wrap it up before I start to miss the game and so I can move onto either FF 7 Remake or Alan Wake II. Unfortunately I caught something last night and I wasn’t in the mood to start Lonesome Road, so I went back and grabbed an achievement I missed in Old World blues and...

I’ve been playing through Fallout New Vegas for the first time. Got it modded to look modern too so that’s been a really nice touch. New Vegas Reloaded is a bitch to get running but so worth it.

Fallout 3 was my very first Fallout and played it way back when it came out, then proceeded to skip new Vegas and played thru 4 back when that one released.

All this time I was time I was like damn, 3 is my favorite only because of nostalgia and actually ran a quick play thru back in April when all the Fallout hype started because of the TV show.

But I also bought New Vegas finally during this hype and am almost done with my first playthrough and wow I get why it’s considered the best Fallout game.

The RPG elements are perfection, the stories are so interesting and gameplay is challenging but fair. I’m so glad I can now understand all the hype behind this game.

I asked my brother this who’s a huge fina fantasy fan and he says it’s the best story wise since 10. 13 is just boring, 15 is so convoluted and bloated. 12 is pretty good but the retread in Ivaice always felt like a cop out. 16 is the most consice FF story wise in years.

Geezus the story isn’t ass. I know you prefaced with it just being your opinion, but with a charged comment like that’s it’s hard not to want to push back.

There have been rumors of a 2D Zelda too, so I have a feeling we see Zelda in this direct in some form.

I like the fact that Eggman is not the villain in this. I’d like to see more of this in future Sonic games. We’ve seen plenty of times where other videogame mascots have teamed up with their arch rivals to stop a greater threat.

It’s cool to hear someone say their favorite is TP. I always felt like it was OOT on steroids. Which in my opinion is a good thing. I wish TP had gotten more than an HD port of the original. Would love to see that get a facelift for the Switch with higher polygon count and his res textures.

You mean the old ones or all of the series? Skyward Sword, Breath and Tears are all very polished games.

If you want to try a more “modern” Zelda game that isn’t open world, twilight princess is a huge game.

There’s also Skyward Sword but it’s way too linear for my liking. The sword swinging stuff can be pretty cool though

I’m more sad than I expected. He influenced a lot of my younger years more than I realized. To think some nobody in the Midwest can feel sadness for a great man in the other side of the world.

Nakey Jakey recently did a super indepth video on what is wrong with Starfield. And suffice it to say, I’ve removed the game from my wishlist. There’s betterr games to spend my money on.

Maybe it’s time to just stop giving Bethesda money all together. Or until they start releasing games when they’re finished.

I’m with you. I was excited once I saw the first look photos. They took a lot of care with costume and set design

Strange, I got the exact opposite feel from the teaser. If anything they nailed the tone of fallout in that 2 and a half minute spot. Plus the set design and costumes don’t look cheap or fake. Im cautiously optimistic.

Holy shit I was just thinking this last night. I picked up Death Stranding Dirt Cheap and I’ve been working through the the Mountain region. And all I kept thinking was this entire thing felt like a chore. Like I just want to progress the damn story. At that point I decided I won’t be wasting my money on games that take 40+ hours to beat.

There’s just not enough time in our lives and so many great games to still play.

I’m pretty happy with it. I feel like Nintendo took a lot inspiration from Yooka-Laylee and the impossible lair.

Which I’m okay with since that was the best 2D platformer in a long time. The idea of unlocking new abilities for use in stages and backtracking. Plus the interactive world map. Though I feel like YL took that idea a little farther.

I’m finally getting to Death Stranding and I’m an hour in and absolutely intrigued by the story. But at the same time completely lost. I look forward to all the reveals of what the hell is going on.

Also weirdly feels like an anime, which isn’t surprising knowing the mind behind it.

No Man’s Sky really is a pleasant surprise. It took a few years but it’s a stellar game with so much to do.

I wonder if starfield will ever reach that level

This game is full of great quotes. I wish I could remember some off the top of head. All of the whiteboards and tag boards strewn across the game are just absolute nonsense but hilarious

im getting really tired of all of these MS acquisitions. I know the nintendo one is very unlikely, but i would be pissed as fuck to see valve swallowed up by this terrifying beast.

I think F-Zero 99 is way for Nintendo to gauge the temperature. If the this game ends up getting a big player base and it stays consistent, then they will likely see that proper F-Zero game should be developed.

I remember a while back hearing Nintendo higher ups stating that they weren’t sure the popularity was there for a new game. This is there way to checking.
