Dyskolos,

V Rising. It’s so epic. Also Elder Scrolls Online

Dyskolos,

Never tried the modpack, always did my own. Which ends up playing more in the modmanager than the game, but the results are epic and exactly what I want.

Besides. You might wanna give ElderScrollsOnline a shot. Even if you hate MMOs. It’s a ton of ES, a bit of skyrim, and massive totally voiced content. Even some many good quests, not just the kill x of y and get back to do more of it.

Also it’s the most anti-social social game ever 😁 Yet still having a very mature and helpful community.

Dyskolos,

Yeah sure, it’s a never ending story if you start to make your own modpack. Dunno if i would start again.

ESO does have controller support. Many ppl actually play with one on pc. However they manage that,i just suck with controllers. I only played the beta too for a bit and just tried again a few months ago. It really aged fine. With just a bit of effort (or spending bucks for shortcuts) you can be in the endgame very quickly. If one does desire to. Also, mods make it a lot better. There aren’t as many as for skyrim, but that’s good 😁

Dyskolos,

There are still MMOs. They can be a blast with a group of friends who consistently play together. Or Ark? Or Rust?

Dyskolos,

Yeah great /s

I prefer donations to the modders. Not paying 30% of it to steam for doing… Nothing much. And also being forced to pay for a mod.

Modding made so many mediocre games fantastic. The community is always a blast. People doing it for the “fame” or just for fun, and also getting occasional donations as a heartfelt “thank you” as a cherry on top.

I can’t imagine paid mods to do anything good for the scene. When does money ever…

Dyskolos,

You can’t. Unless you go offline (for as long as you play it)

Best thing to do is download it elsewhere (he said eye-patchedly). You already have the license, screw them.

Dyskolos,

Oh right. I forgot about that simple solution.

Dyskolos,

… With 20mins loading time and a “meh” - performance. So maybe giving this a go in 2028. Fixed and with a great discount.

Dyskolos,

Oh right, forgot about the size…

I tried over 20 Steam Next demos so that you don't have to! angielski

And I’ve rated them all below. I’m very glad Steam decided to do a big promotional event around them- it helped point me toward a lot of games I would have never tried/heard of otherwise. Some of the good ones might not be good the entire game, but they were at least good in the demo....

Dyskolos,

Thanks man. But what about “minicivilization”? I don’t find this one on steam

Dyskolos,

Indeed. Thanks for the hint. Looks interesting. The other commenter named the right one: “micro civilization”

Dyskolos, (edited )

I haven’t. So apologies for not answering your question 😁 But thanks for the hint, it indeed sounds very tempting and interesting. An update with chest-hair for sure.

Dyskolos,

Wildlands. Breakpoint isn’t crap, but Wildlands is just superior. It got more soul at least. BP seemed like a rushed “it worked, let’s do it again!”. From a mostly single-player PoV

Dyskolos,

No, it won’t help. It just suspends a task and going into sleep then won’t help. Maybe disable suspend and change to hibernation. This would work. You most likely would need to enable it first:

Powercfg /h on

On a commandline.

You can try out easily with e. G. Procexp from sysinternals (a great Taskmanager-replacement too!). You can just suspend your game and try it.

Dyskolos,

Goodbye then. Was already expensive enough.

Just beat Lies of P and I love it! angielski

My first soulsborne game was Bloodborne and is still my favorite of the FromSoft series with Elden Ring just behind it. Playing Lies of P has seriously reminded me of when I first played Bloodborne and so it probably gets special bonus points just for that. Now I just have to wait until Friday for Lords of the Fallen!

Dyskolos,

Me too. Would love to play all those, but my tries were just frustrating. And it’s not just difficult enemies. But that artificially inflated difficulty like all enemies reset when i fail.

There’s motivation to beat a tough enemy, and then there’s motivation to beat 30 enemies again for 30mins just because i made a tiny mistake.

Maybe it’s a generational thing. I grew up with very difficult games, i just grew out of it. Newer generations only had these honey-drenched easypeasygames the industry came up with. There really is a hard challenge to beat anymore. Then came fromsoft and reminded me of how nasty games were 😂
