I ran out of new games to play so I’m back to my default of Dark Souls. Replaying DS2: SOTFS at the moment with a Dex/Faith character.

No matter how many times I replay the games, I can never not go in on dex stats haha

There was a lot of custom modded vehicles for a Midtown Madness 2 and I loved digitally hoarding them and trying them all out as a kid. There was one modded vehicle that was an 18 wheeler tractor that had its speed adjusted to be totally borked fast (not just “that’s cheating” fast, more like “I’m not sure the game engine can handle this” fast). You would hold forward on the truck for a second or two and then let go and then you would zoom forward and get launched half way across the map. Some of my formative experiences in life with the world of janky mods that do hilarious stuff.

heck no but I just googled it and check this out there is still a midtown madness mod file website! its got tons of cars and levels www.mm2x.com pretty cool people take the time to preserve this stuff and keep it up

I played Everything today. That was both hilarious and wonderful. Like Proteus and Mountain it’s definitely not a game for everyone, but if some silliness and philosophy doesn’t scare you away, you’re probably going to enjoy it.

Edit: If you’d rather just watch it as a short film, then that’s possible too: cdn.jwplayer.com/previews/SrNsE3Jo-dYsrOfVj or you can let the game play itself for you if you’d rather just lean back and take it all in. Just leave the game unattended for a while and it will start playing itself. Settings for autoplay can be edited in the game’s settings menu.

I just finished Remnant 2, and started playing it again with a different class on my PS5, but have to stop cause I am traveling. I picked up Dragon Dogma on the deck and I hated it for the first 30 minutes, but I am into it now.

Getting back into Monster Hunter World! Trying to tackle those endgame Iceborne quests and getting my ass kicked quite often. It’s really satisfying getting a good build going with armor set bonuses and stacking skills.

Also finally playing Super Mario Odyssey. What a game. The controls are so tight and responsive. I love exploring every nook and cranny, high and low, and almost always getting some kind of reward out of every effort and idea.

I felt the same! Luckily if you’re on PC there’s a mod you can easily install that allows you to skip cutscenes and it works very smoothly.
